Simply cut the required number of metal strips, insert them into the notches, secure them with binding wire, solder the ends together, and remove the completed setting ready for trimming and finishing.

How to Use

1. Cut 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 or 12 metal strips approximately 20–30 mm long.
   
2. Insert the strips into the required notches.
   
3. Secure the strips with binding wire.
   
4. Solder the strip ends together.
   
5. Remove the completed chaton from the tool.
   
6. Trim the strips to the required height and finish the setting.
