The Presidium Gem Tester II is a professional gemstone testing tool for jewellers, gemologists and gemstone enthusiasts.

Using thermal conductivity, it provides a fast and reliable way to identify diamonds, moissanites and distinguish common coloured gemstones.

It can distinguish up to 16 common coloured gemstones, including ruby, sapphire, emerald, garnet, amethyst, citrine, tourmaline, topaz, spinel, alexandrite, peridot, tanzanite, zircon, aquamarine, chrysoberyl and iolite.

Precise Testing – Even on Small Stones
The 0.6 mm retractable thermoelectric probe provides constant, gentle pressure during testing and can be used on gemstones as small as 0.02 carats.

A clear analogue dial provides quick readings, while the built-in metal alert buzzer signals contact with metal during testing.

The tester is suitable for both polished and unpolished stones, with no waiting time required between tests.

Compact & Convenient
This second-generation model features a compact, sturdy and portable design, making it convenient for use in jewellery shops, workshops, on-site or at trade shows.

Built-in calibration and glass test discs provide a convenient reference during testing. The tester can be powered by 2 × AA batteries or the included power adapter.
