Beschrijving
Professional precision engineer’s square (Anschlagwinkel) for checking and marking accurate 90° angles in jewellery making, goldsmithing, metalworking and precision workshop applications.
Unlike a standard ruler-style square, the solid base allows the square to sit securely against the edge of a workpiece. The precision blade can then be used to check whether an adjoining surface is correctly square or to guide the marking of an accurate 90° line.
Manufactured from metal with precision-ground working surfaces and marked DIN 875/1, this compact square is available in two sizes: 75 × 50 mm and 100 × 70 mm.
How to Use
Place the thicker base of the square firmly against a straight reference edge of the workpiece. The upright blade should then sit against the surface you want to check.
If the surface is square, it should align evenly with the blade. A visible gap between the blade and workpiece can indicate that the surface is not perfectly perpendicular.
For marking, hold the base securely against the reference edge and use the straight blade as a guide to scribe or mark a 90° line across the workpiece.
