The Busch Fig. 5 Pointed Bur is a premium-quality precision rotary bur, manufactured in Germany from hardened tungsten vanadium steel. Designed for professional jewellers, goldsmiths and stone setters, this bur delivers exceptional cutting performance, stability and concentricity for accurate material removal.
The pointed cone profile is specifically designed for creating precise stone seats in claw and collet settings. The bur tapers at approximately 42° to a fine point, closely matching the pavilion angle of many round brilliant-cut gemstones, allowing stones to sit securely and accurately before setting.
With a full working head depth of approximately 2.74 mm, the Busch Fig. 5 provides excellent control for detailed stone setting and jewellery fabrication.
Fitted with a 2.35 mm (3/32") shank, it is compatible with most flex shaft machines, pendant drills, micromotors and rotary handpieces.
