The Busch Fig. 6 Bud Bur is a premium-quality rotary bur, precision manufactured in Germany from hardened tungsten vanadium steel. Its distinctive bud-shaped profile is specifically designed for preparing gemstone settings. The bur opens the setting to accommodate the widest part of a gemstone's girdle before tapering back towards the tip, creating a secure seat that helps support the stone during the setting process.
