ORIGINAL EMO OCTOSCOP L: 2X- 28X MAGNIFIER LOUPE BY ARTHUR SEIBERT, W. GERMANY
OCTOSCOP L is a vest-pocket magnifier or loupe with 8 magnifications in one, hence the name octoscop. The magnifications are 2x, 4x, 6x, 10x, 14x, 15x, 20x and 28x. It can be used opened for 4 magnifications: 2x, 4x, 10x and 18x. When folded together one way the magnifications are 6x and 28x. When folded the other way they are 14X and 20X. To be especially noted is that this product was manufactured by EMO-Optik Arthur Seibert in Wetzlar which at that time was in West-Germany (now it is in unified Germany). It comes in its original very subtly blue-colored German box with instructions on back. Also included is a nice leather case and string for around the neck and a separate instruction sheet. Not to be confused with an otoscope.This is a very rare item.
